I'm a little too frazzled right now to read every post on here, but I've been empathic as far back as I can remember, but I never thought to link my aspergers to it. I ignored my aspergers most of my childhood/teen life and suffered greatly for it. Lost many friends over many misunderstandings, and ...

My mum used the 'overcome' word last week in an assessment interview. She said she thought I could 'overcome' things. I snapped at her and said I can try and cope with certain things, but I can't overcome everything. And you definitely can't overcome aspergers. I think they're just ignorant and don...

Being strangely empathic, I've always thought about having the ability to see emotional energy, and to project it as sort of a colored fire/energy. sort of like green lantern but not really into any real shape other than projectiles, or barriers.

Facebook is the only place I can contact family, and friends all together, and some people I wouldn't be able to otherwise. But it's scary writing people. I always feel like I am bothering them. I learned to read emotion through voice, faces, and body movement, but when it's text I always go feel th...

Dear you, I tried. I really did. Which wasn't my job. You betrayed me, you left me for dead, you gave them the ammo to attack me. I chased you, tried to catch you, you spit on me, blocked me, hung up on me, called me a stalker. You knew it wasn't true, but that made it easier for you. So I left. Aft...

My biggest problem right now with depression is the job problem. I have a degree in graphic design, made sure I varied my skills to cover a lot of ground, and got really good, but nothing pans out. Years of sending out resumes and portfolios. Years of building skills, and reaching out, and networkin...

In my life, I have had family, friends, teachers, cops, and just random acquaintances assume I was lying, up to no good, or a fake. I don't think it's just that we unintentionally produce the body language that people who are lying often do. I think it also has to do with the fact that most of us wh...
