Actually, I use a combo of ESET Smart Security along with MalwareBytes. They work rather well together.

My view of Autism and Asperger's? A computer that's wired up a little differently and with a specialized OS that's self-tweaked instead of making a copy and utilizing it on yourself.

One reason I thought the "In crowd" was a center for stupidity. I'd rather be myself than what others want me to be.

Actually, 1.6GHz with 2GB of RAM.. Windows 7 x86 would run rather well. ..now under that is a different story. I have it running on my 6-year-old's P4 Dell (P4@2GHz, 1GB of RAM) and it runs alright. All he does is play a few games and doodle.. maybe surf the 'net once in awhile. Nothing that require...

Currently Windows 8. I don't like it. When I have time I'll try to bypass the UEFI bollocks on this computer and dual boot some flavour of Linux again, my last attempt failed miserably.

What type of system is it.. I might be able to help you with that.

I'm not a fan of Windows 8. I run Windows 7 on almost everything, except the servers. My router (PE1750) runs Gentoo Linux at the moment. I'm debating switching to OpenBSD. The other servers run FreeBSD and a few run Gentoo. My Tablet (Kindle Fire) and my phone (Samsung Captivate) run CyanogenMod 10...

I use ESET Smart Security here. I have *NEVER* been nailed by anything since.

Kaspersky's CEO ticked me off.. He said everyone's computers should be monitored and I ditched his software in a heartbeat.

BTW: ESET Smart Security is built by the same people who made NOD32 back in the day.

Most people think we're weird because we don't think like them. I was labeled "Weird" because I don't accept "That's not possible". Anything's possible if you have a large imagination, the brain power, and the knowledge of what you want to accomplish. Having a team that think like you helps, too. .....

Thanks. The Navy was actually a great fit for me. Unfortunately, I didn't know how plugged up my rate was (160% manned at the time), so I couldn't have joined again after I have gotten out.

It's easy to get out.. but a bit harder to get back in. Word of advice.

Well, my name is James. A few years ago, I was diagnosed with Asperger's. I wish I knew of this condition when I was younger, since I always knew I was an "odd ball". I started in computers back in 1984. It was an old Atari 800XL with a 1010 and a 1050. I learned how to rip apart computer programs a...

Red Bull doesn't do much to me. It seems that anything with a ton of B-Vitamins works rather well instead of being loaded with caffeine.
