If 'socially ret*d' is the way you described it then I definitely feel like that. (:

Yeah. Some have even provoked me into having meltdowns just to 'get a reaction' from me. But I'm with another NT now and we get along fine (: he knows how I feel without me having to reassure him verbally over and over.

I've always gotten along better with older people, ever since I was a kid. Older people as in old people usually with white or gray hair unless dyed. (:

My shoulders twitch and I pull them almost all the way up to my ears, my body kind of tensing up as if though I had tetanus. Afterwards I kind of feel like I have to physically brush off the touch from my shoulder and my stimming will usually increase for awhile. People have begun asking me wether t...

I don't think of there as being some kind of beauty-scale in the world... Everyone's beautiful to someone. To me people usually grow more beautiful the more I get to know them (as long as I'm liking their personalities).

But you do have people around who care for you. Even if we're all communicating through computers worldwide this is a way of caring, just as snow is just another shape of water. (:

My mum! If you can call her 'therapy'. Just knowing that she's always there, not judging me for my behaviour, what I say or the way I think. She's always been encouraging me to move forward without being pushy and when I haven't been able to move she's been there to always keep me company, letting m...

Have you tried talking with you father about it? I'm sure he wants what's best for you as well so maybe he's got some ideas or advice? I understand how you feel though; I have no idea how I would manage without my mum... There's a film called "Adam" about a guy kind of dealing with the loss of his d...

I don't think it's wrong or weird that you prefer to be on your own, I'm the same. I read this quote recently in a book and found it comforting but also true: "A sensible man ought to find sufficient company in himself." Some people will say things like: I used to be like that too but you just gotta...

My mum still don't believe I've got Aspergers, she just describes me as "Extremely introverted and very sensitive to sensory input", but then she is the closest person in my life so I feel completely safe with her and she'd also describe herself in the same way only a bit less extreme. Mostly there'...
