They do not have sufficient evidence to prove this statement. However I haven't seen any to disprove it either so I think it would requires further testing.

I learned when I was 6 or 7. I doubt learning it could be that difficult if you have a big flat surface and you keep the seat low. Once you get the wheels spinning balance is much easier.

This is part of how we speak, by learning to mimic those around us. If you are around people with an accent long enough you will start to take on that accent. I think this should happen to anyone Echolalia or not.

Just forget about it. For some reason people don't like to say this, they'd rather start ignoring you and leave you confused. Had this happen a couple of times and it makes me pretty mad.

Showing up and forgetting the name of the person I was interviewing with. I went to like 5 interviews with unclear points on my resume. He was never officially diagnosed. However he has created a bad name for all socially awkward people like us. Some of us may be treated differently because of his actions. Possibly ignored more or viewed as potential threats. I'm just speculating however.
