When you're at school/college how do you ask for someone's phone number at the right moment. When I finally muster up enough courage to ask I often interrupt conversation by asking so the question is in turn not fully asked. An older obsession was pets/animals.

Nature has been a forever going obsession.

Fish have been a huge, dominating obsession for the last 7 years.

I haven't been in 5 or 6 years do to hating it so much. If I had friends, who asked me to go I might force myself to go just to keep them happy.
