I tend to just be and do my own thing so I guess that makes me an eclectic pagan though I've looked into modern druidary/Wiccan/voudoo/reclaiming and so on. What can I say the study of faith and mythology fascinates me. As to the magic yes I've tried it on and off over the years, always nervous to t...

I started as a 12C (Australian sizing) at 12 which needless to say was a huge problem. To suddenly have what felt like men (ok some were which is messed up) hitting on you was too much in my teens. Baggy clothes helped. The silly things however didn't get the memo puberty was over cause now in my 30...

Hi just wanted to say hi and good for you - I like the goths and find them to generally to be nice people. I'm not one myself though I love the cloths and attitude (I get that it's more than appearance). My hubby and I used to like going to goth clubs before marriage - though never together for some...

I am lucky to be an Australian and did look into Tony Attwoods clinic in Brisbane - even found a psyc starting up in Sydney that had trained with him. I'm just not sure the $1200 price tag is worth it. I guess it's one of those things that knowledge is power. Might explain more about me and my life ...

Hi going slightly crazy, I'm a mum of an ASD kid with another close on his heels. In my research and journey with them it's hit me like a ton of bricks that I'm on the spectrum. The catch is I can't get a diagnosis as I come across as too normal to asses. Anyone who knows me picks it right away but ...

Hi I'm also new here. I like your attitude, you can have the most interesting Aspie but mine's the most awesome Autie  I have my 4yr old son with ASD who once we survived the 2-3's has been a pleasure. Not easy by any means BUT we have a great 'working relationship' now and I love his new inte...

Thanks for that. Of course they will, they don't want to change their views or see the world differently. That's why I need to keep searching out people who don't think that way. Luckily we live in an IT era or I'd be lost.

Hi I know this is an old post BUT its one of the few that turns up the keyword Pyroluria. I'm new here, another Aussie and yes I have Pyroluria as does my ASD son and more than likely my little girl as well. My Dad is being tested next month has he is a likely candidate and I would love my brother t...

Thanks for the welcome everyone - it is appreciated. theWanderer - that's about the conclusion I've come to as well. There is a failure to understand but its not one way at all. I also get frustrated as they don't ever seem to remember to look at the big picture when things aren't working out for th...
