Hey everyone, I've been having issues with tics for over three months now. I make a weird throat clearing noise and have a head twitch. My psychiatrist thought it was a side effect of one of my medications, Risperdal, and weaned me off of it. She then switched me to Zyprexa and I take 1.5 pills ever...

I find that I have more stiffness when I'm stressed or I'm tired. My psychologist believes it's a side effect of the Risperdal I'm on.

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has experienced issues while on anxiety medications with their facial expressions. I've been taking anxiety medications for over a year now and find that my facial muscles tend to get very stiff and I have trouble changing my facial expression. My psychiatrist has ...

I've been taking Buspar and Risperdal for over a year to help with my anxiety. They have helped to an extent. I still get anxious though so we are working on what the right balance of medication should be for me.

I've been on Risperidone for almost a year and it allows me to calm my brain down so that I can actually sleep. Before taking it I had trouble sleeping my whole life. I have had side effects such as developing muscle tics and having stiff facial muscles which caused my psychiatrist to start lessenin...

I just finished reading "Shadowhunters and Downworlders", a series of essays about one of my favorite series, "The Mortal Instruments" and am currently reading "Still LoLo" by Lauren Scruggs and the Scruggs family about a young woman who loses her left eye and hand after she walks into the propeller...

I'd definitely recommend at least going to a community college and getting an associate's degree or apply for financial aid and go to college and get a bachelor's degree. Most employers today are looking to hire people with bachelor's degrees or higher. I graduated from college eight months ago and ...

I've also had difficulty finding jobs but I've found that one way to make yourself stand out more is to keep your resume updated, take classes (there are many free online classes-PM me and I can give you places where you can take them) where you can enhance your skills or learn more about the field ...

Yeah, I definitely can't really function right without my medication. I've been taking Risperdal, Zoloft, and Buspirone for almost a year now and without them I think I'd be more anxious and possibly start having suicidal/intrusive thoughts again.

I was diagnosed with NLD in May 2010 after a neuropsychological evaluation. My verbal and spatial skills dramatically differ as I am much stronger verbally than I am with understanding how to navigate in space. I have coordination issues, fine motor skills issues, and socialization issues. I definit...
