the WBC and the KKK I don't believe are representative of TRUE Christianity. True Christianity is what Jesus practiced. But some people come in Christ's name that don't believe nor practice what He did.

I have told VERY FEW people I know offline about my AS, so I guess I am *mostly* (but not all) " in the closet". However, with people on the Internet mostly because I don't really care about them judging me or telling other ppl, I am a bit more open, especially on a site like this one. I only rememb...

While the Bible does say that homosexuality is a sin, I think your "friends" need to do a better job of accepting you as a person and of being more open and honest with you rather than just putting you down. If you "friend" is calling himself a Christian than he should have been loyal to the end and...

Your former pastor!! !! !! !! !! !?????????? Was she/he a pastor for a given denomination? If so, I out of spite and justice, would tell the governing body about this! It is NOT biblical, technically ILLEGAL, sets a bad precedent, and I believe it is against EVERY Christian, and certainly Catholic ...

I can identify with the first poster also. I feel uncomfortable when people talk to their friends and I have nothing to say. Many times unless I make an effort to join in the conversation myself,no one will even pay attention to me. It happens in both churches which I have gone to that are evangelic...

I would tell VERY few people I have AS, as in ONLY people who have been friends with you for more than 5 years and on forums such as this where there is general anonymity. My parents made a very bad mistake of telling two of my now-former friends about my AS. Mind you, at the time, I just found OUT ...

Some people have said that NT's are people who aren't autistic and have no mental illness. I wonder what then to call people without AS, but who have some type of mental illness if they are not NT's. I'm confused. I thought everyone without AS was called NT. ?!?

I have a lot of pet peeves, but one of them is the phrase, "Do as I say, not as I do," which encourages hypocrisy by excusing the sayer of that phrase's actions while imposing what "should be done" on someone else. I hate that!

I am a Christian, but have changed denominations. I love God, and I try to live for him the best I can (but sometimes I fail of course.). I was raised in a non-religious/Catholic household, but it was a very loving environment. So, I am very lucky in that respect. I was a Catholic for a little while...
