NEW UPDATE!! ! I sat down with this guy and had a very long, painful conversation. He told me that he wasn't after me for sex and doesn't care if we never do it, he just likes spending time with me. I asked him what he'd classify the relationship as and his response was "just two people getting to k...

Hi, This is kind of random but I was wondering if there are any Aspies out there who know what their daemon is/would be? I just thought it might be interesting to see if there is some form of pattern with Aspergers and their Daemons or not, so this is a thread for people to list their daemons and wh...

Thank you all for your responses! I'll see how the next few days pan out to see if I think dumping him like hot coals (even though we may not even be going out) is the best course of action. In the mean time, another post of questions I have that beg answering. How do I get this guy to open up to me...

This is very long-winded because I don't know what details are and aren't important, so I've put in everything...also forgive the highly confusing (or complete lack of) structure, I just sort of word-vomited onto the page and I really don't know how to properly organise my thoughts on this matter......

I spent many years confused as to why I constantly felt like the odd person out, always the 'confused' or 'strange' one. I frequently did made strange, out-of-place comments, had overbearing obsessions that would control my life, and other such Aspergers traits. Throughout my childhood I chalked thi...

Hi! I'm a first year uni student at the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane and I was just wondering if there are any other aspies out there at QUT so I can meet some like-minded people? I'm in a drama degree at the moment, so I'm really in the wrong course to be meeting others with ASD ...

Does anyone think that an Aspie could be a god actor/actress? I believe many of today's famous entertainers and actors are very likely (though undiagnosed) Aspies. Off the top of my head I can think of a number of my favourite actors who display very Aspie tendencies in many of thier roles - in fac...

This poll is inherently flawed, given that the majority of different IQ tests use their own scale (and that's not even going into the use of web-based IQ tests being used as sources). That being said I shall contribute none-the-less. I got 130+ on Wechsler's Intelligence Scale for Children a couple ...

I know how you feel, I experience the same sort of thing. It makes me reluctant to get into relationships even when they are presented to me, which is a very rare thing itself. I'd be somewhat inclined to blame it on a bad experience in a past relationship though. My first (and only) boyfriend was a...

When most people set goals they say "I'm going to run 10 miles." If he only runs 9 miles he achieved 90% of his goal. When I set goals I say, "I'm going to go 1000 miles." If I only make it 100 miles I am no where near my goal but I am 91 miles ahead of the other guy. We Aspie's have greater obstac...
