| Heya, All I can say is WOW. It is always best to see a doctor and have him perform tests, however, I would print this off and show it to them. I find it hard in recent times to articulate my life and how I have perceived the World growing up but you have ripped out the story of my life pretty much. ... |

I can't change a plan it doesn't compute. 02 When people who aren't close friends buy me presents for Birthdays/Christmas and I havn't bought them anything because I don't mind not getting gifts from them, why should they mind n... |

| Hi dude, I think it may be a trait. I feel it in any chit chat situation with more than one person. I feel it going down the street but thats because of my cannabis use, which I'm doing something about among other things (long story). My personal opinion from my research on my condition is it stems ... |

| baatar I know exactly what you mean! :) And bumble yes it does answer my question, very much so. If you are looking for a diagnosis I would say you have aspergers. A diagnosis is never fact, but I would argue in the face of any doctor after reading your explanations. good luck to you xx Daniel |

| hey bumble I hope you are well, I enjoyed reading about you very much :) The way your brain is wired does suggest some form of high functioning autism / aspergers, so there IS one question I would like to ask. I'm 28, was diagnosed AS as a child and think in all the same ways you have described. exc... |

| I am also very indecisive but for different reasons with different things. I'll try to explain to see if anyone can relate, it may be the aspergers. As I am very aware that I do not take in as much as other people with peoples motives and body language, I constantly seek reassurance from friends as ... |

All it does is segregate people more into their own groups and alienates the common ... |

agreed but theres loads of boxes I wouldn't tick for the Forrest Gump character. Just my opinion of a fictional character.
edit: I understand your point. Hollywood turns ugly reality into tinsel town aesthetically pleasing characters. |

Duston Hoffman plays a good Autistic representation (although the real life Rainman's abilities are quite rare in cases of Autism), and Sheldon plays a good Aspergers representation.
However, Forest Gump?? he's just a little slow |
