Does anyone else on here occasionally find something on the Internet relating to a sensory pet hate (e.g. stories/articles/tweets/etc about someone experiencing a stimulus you can't stand) and then read more, look into it further, read other people's accounts of the event, and basically become a lit...

Asperger's Syndrome is the diagnosis I was given, so I do still use that term most of the time. However, sometimes I just use "autism/autistic" for various reasons: 1.) Space (e.g. character limits on Twitter) 2.) Because more people are familiar with it - in particular, most people who aren't autis...

Urgh, I hate heatwaves. The thing is, in England it doesn't even get that hot in comparison to most countries (I swear Americans look at what the UK calls "weather" and just laugh for hours... :P ) so I feel like I'm over-reacting even more. Whilst there's definitely sensory issues involved, I think...
