The first two episodes of True Blood.

I saw the pilot when it originally aired, and I planned on watching the show regularly, but then I completely forgot it was on, so I've fallen behind for five years. Luckily it's ending soon, so I don't have to worry about playing catch-up.

I couldn't believe it when I read it; I kept repeating "poor guy" to myself. I never saw F&TF, but I was aware he was in it. And while it's certainly tragic, you do have to appreciate the irony.

Robert Altman's son Michael wrote the lyrics to "Suicide is Painless", the MASH theme song. Because the song was later used in the TV series, Michael ended up making more money in royalties than his father had made directing the movie.
