Oh I know what that means. Yes, I am put on gov't assistance. People insist I need permanent accomodation. People say I am too weak to survive alone. I don't want that, but I want to overcome my "aspie challenges" and succeed like an NT would. Either everybody, whether aspie or NT, is entitled to ha...

I just stay at home all day. It's a habit. What are some suggestions that I can do today or tomorrow to set me on a road for developing social skills?

I think I have problems speaking in rhythm and tone because I have weak oral musculature. I'm trying English lessons meant for ESL speakers to learn about tone and rhythm. When speaking into a mic, my speaking sounds unnatural. Will this go on permanently? I know that I am a very capable human being...

I don't know too much about the political preferences of individuals on the spectrum, but do aspies generally dislike or don't trust conservatives, specifically the republicans in the US for US aspies? I notice the trend with other "minorities" is to vote democratic, in the US anyway. It is my perso...

I am an American, and also a conservative. Why do I sense that US conservatism is dumb compared to other countries conservatives. Does this even make sense from a US perspective? I think conservatives here will be better off if they take hints from conservatives in Canada, UK, Australia etc.

Those are not nice words, but this is so stupid.

If we want to be seen on strong, we need to stop complaining about being called this or that. Also, when will the enforcement of language on others end anyway? We call things stupid or dumb all the time. This too will pass into obscurity.

Sorry. I know it's possible to make a difference without being a politician or leader.

People posting here tell me that people on the spectrum can't make a difference in the world and be leaders. It's been my dream to make a political difference starting on the local level. We have a corrupt, greedy system. I possibly even aspire to be a national or state leader. I know some people he...

I went shopping in Target today and saw a copy of the new SimCity game. It's about designing your own city. I liked the older one, so despite negative reviews I went home to actually order my copy online.

I am asking what people here have been through a sort of "racist" phase in their life, or any other radical ideology. I want to confess that while there was a time in my history that I didn't really single out any race in particular, I did visit places like Stormfront since I felt back then that eac...

It's not that aspies can "learn" social skills as some of them are just developed over time with practice. To overcome the energy drain, I think you can benefit from better exercise, for all the more 'bitter' aspies out there.

I didn't dig too deep into this yet, but I have evaluated some of the core concepts of conservative thought and here's what I found. Do I really believe in the individual to self-regulate? Do I really believe in lower taxes at the expense of welfare and health? Do I really believe in restricting fre...
