It seems like the movie studios use some kind of formula/ polls to decide what will sell. They just keep using the same formula and apply it to different movie ideas. That's why it seems like all these movie while having different characters and stories all seem similar. If the seriously wanted to d...

After 2 yrs on hormones I could no longer pass as a boy I have been on hormones for 5 years and don't pass at all =( I was very lucky in that I did not start to hit puberty until my mid to late teens. My voice never cracked, and I am only around 5'5 in height. The other big thing is that I started ...

looking at the nose between the eyes should be perfectly fine. You just need to be looking around that area. I find I look at several things, mouth when they speak, eyes when I speak and sometimes forehead randomly. Once I was willing to look someone straight in the face it was a lot easier to do a...

Romances, where that is the main plot of the story. Its fine as a subplot, but as a main plot I can't stand these kind of movies.

The Hobbit - gawd I could think of so many things I would like to change... primarily loose Radagast the Brown...please! Sherlock (BBC version) - I think Moriarty would have made a more interesting adversary as a woman instead of a man. Adds a lot more potential plot twists and story arcs. The Lord ...

I had a friend once, she had been in living full time for almost all her adult life. She finally had saved up the money to have SRS, had the date set with the Dr. Then the Dr broke his hip horseback riding, so the surgery had to be postponed. During the time she waited to reschedule, her boyfriend ...

True. Sometimes I just want it to be over more quickly so I can get on with my life and move on. But like you say, doing that can make you side-step parts of yourself you might otherwise not to get to properly know or explore. Its a normal human response. Who wants to prolong pain? Fear? Few people...

I don't have an expectation that my insurance will cover my SRS among other transition related care. So far they have covered some. The insurance contradicts itself by saying it's not covered in one spot, then saying, I have to jump through much stricter hoops then the SOC demands to get it covered...

Which brings me back to original premise : I just don't understand why people seem to feel that some nameless faceless corp entity should help them. Employee One need a liver transplant and uses the "nameless faceless corp entity" employer health insurance. This procedure costs an estimated $300,00...

OK. Now I think you are starting to show your true intent in this conversation. You want us all to go through what you did and if we are unable to do so, then you think we must be denied. I guess that's the thinking that comes from, "I've already got mine." Incorrect. If that was my intent I would ...

Because I don't think many of us can handle that saving job/shouldn't have to go through it/etc. I think SRS should be available to everyone who needs it. In a perfect utopian world this would make sense, in the imperfect flawed world we live in it is not practical to expect the rest of society to ...

Why do I always see people grousing about needing help from an insurance company to transition / srs. This is not meant to be hurtful or insensitive, I just simply don't understand. Yes I know that it is expensive, especially SRS and even more so for FTM. I just don't understand why people seem to f...

I'm gay, but feel slightly androgynous. I don't identify myself as transgender. I have considered myself cis-male in the past while gay. I never considered myself truly femme and I try not to be femme. However, one of my friends who knows I'm gay said I sound fairly femme. It sort of makes sense no...
