I found Japanese grammar very logical and easy to learn. But since ideas are conceptualized and expressed differently in any language, there are countless patterns that must be learned in order to communicate like a native speaker rather than resort to translating literally from one's native languag...

I wish I could keep on living in isolation from society. I can do that now thanks to the generosity of my family, but I think I'd eventually be forced to work to support myself even though I'm not qualified for much. Not that anyone would hire me when I have no friends to network with or references ...

Since I hardly know anyone, it's not difficult to be the most asocial person I know. I talk to my spouse and my mom and that's it.

I don't really like people. I would like to be able to like them, though.
