So a person with actual homophobia, Is mentally ill and afraid and you would get onto them, but another phobia you wouldnt, There has to be a better word. like, People who have a different opinion wtf is that su...

The tendency for entropy to increase in isolated systems is expressed in the second law of thermodynamics — perhaps the most pessimistic and amoral formulation in all human thought.

Whenever I tell people I am gay they have the same reaction. Either the normal one, what you expect, which is nice OR (90% of the time) "What? You? But...how....wow! You look soooOOOo not gay. I would have never thought! Who could have known?" which I find funny and sad, they have such strict image ...

What are you stimulating when you are lying in bed reading? I ask because this could help me as well, not to be offensive. =P As everything concerning autism the details are not well understood, but it is like this: The problems are not caused by the understimulation itself, but by the difficulty o...

My brother committed suicide, so I think often about it. It basically saved me from doing the same. Was contemplating it doing myself, but he beat me to it. As strange as it sounds: It helped me a lot. Made me realize what life is about : Living. I strongly dislike the notion of "the cowards way out...

If I were the clingy person (I was in the past to people) I would react positive to a very rational, "emotionless" explanation of the issue. And I would be destroyed by an emotional reaction.

I think many autistic people (or in general, people with low sex drive) suffer from one problem. My boyfriend also has a very low sex drive, and we basically solved our issues. The issue is this: We pretend sex as this instinctively driven thing, that we know it perfectly, blablabla. "It comes from ...

Hello. I feel the strong need to share something. My autism is severely affecting every aspect of my life, for as long as I can think. The way I coped with it was easy: Trying as hard as I possibly can. And it is ruining me. I can pass as being relatively normal, if a little hyperactive, when I try ...

I *hate* cinemas. I cannot shut out noises, I hear every person in the room. The screen is too big, I don't see anything. I prefer small screens. 3D does not work on my eyes. My boyfriend once insisted on me trying out a heavy metal concert. Panic attack. At least I could flee. In cinemas I do not w...

Given my mentality I don't participate in any community or associate with groups though, therefore, I am hesistant to self-identify as a bear. But man, it describes my type well... I live in Germany, and where I live there is absolutely no "bear culture" whatsoever. If it were I could see myself ha...

A special interest for me is like the glasses I put on to make sense of the world. Sometimes I am in-between interests and that is an awful time for me. For example: A long time my special interest was Doctor Who and it helped me made sense of the world. I pretended that we life in a world in which ...
