Ever so often in an Aspie-forum or group I write the following: I thought I was the only one. I also don't much like women and I did NOT grow out of it (being every day of fifty now). I was bullied by girls at school, alright, but there were some mean boys, too. I never got on with my mother, but as...

I don't believe anyone can feel what another person feels. We always feel our own feelings. But there are numerous persons around me who seem to have an idea about what another person's feelings might look like and - as was described above - react adequately and automatically. I wonder where they go...

Real classy words like "einigermaßen" (I'm German and there is nothing like that in English, believe me ;-). Oh, well, maybe "approximately" )...

To me bonding is but a theory. I'm not quite sure what it means. Could you explain what it is like to you? Does it involve regular contact with people (and enjoying it)? As for family, what is bonding like? Having regular meetings? Hugging? Thinking about each other? Telling them things without bein...

Hello, I just registered and it wasn't easy. To be rejected for allegedly having typed a wrong code when I definitely KNOW I didn't - well, rejection isn't something Aspies are good at, or so I've been told (I certainly never was good at it, not even when it came from computers). Anyway, here I am. ...
