Not anymore. But I used to. I felt like I'm too weird or pathetic because I have only a few friends. (because on my anti-social habits) But I realized two things: 1. I feel bad, because being social is some kind of norm. Normal people are social. 2. I don't care about norms in general, so why would ...

I love good sandwiches! But they need to be really good! (both taste ans texture, and how it'll stay together. I don't like messy sandwiches that drop their fillings all over the place. Those kind of sandwiches makes me actually really upset) But the bad thing is, that I hate making sandwiches, even...

Lying is when someone says something that isn't true. (but if something is left unsaid, that is not lying) Mostly, at least. But then again, there are a lot of phrases that are not supposed to take literally. And because other people do understand the true meaning of those words, saying them is not ...

Forum: General Autism Discussion   Topic: I only feel normal when I am drinking

That's true for me, in a social way. I actually realized this just about week or two ago: Whenever I'm gonna meet some friends I "want" to go to drink with them. (And I don't even like to be drunk that much.) Luckily the reason is clear: I'm so uncommunicative when I'm sober, and that makes me quite...

I don't know why, but as soon as I saw this thread I found myself thinking "chocolate pudding!"
IDK. Maybe that's then. Or chocolate cake.

Oh man!
Now I have a graving for chocolate pudding! :x

That's kinda a normal reaction at first. Normally it'll pass, but it may take some time. Give your dad some time to think and get over this. It'll probably be better, but you may need to be patient.

Very. I really can't even lie. (I don't mean I'm bad at lying, I mean I can't do so. Like, I can't say a thing that isn't true.) I don't gossip. Ever. If people tell me some of their stuff, I don't tell it ahead. And I'm very carefully when I'm talking about other people. I want to make sure I don't...

Yeah it is!

But people just doesn't seem to call it sleepovers I think. It's just a... a weekend with a friend? Or a weekend in a friends place or so. But I think the contents are basically the same.

Yeah. Hate it. It's amazing how people just get to know each other (like in schools and so) so naturally. I just started in a new school and I've been observing my classmates how do they interact. It's like magic to me! They just... do it. 8O When I want to make a new friend of someone I have to.. W...

If I were you I'd just tell them that they're wrong. I'd explain that they shouldn't read me as they read NT's, because the expressions aren't the same with aspies. If they wont believe in you, that should be only their problem, not yours. Making up a lie is kinda hard. They wouldn't necessarily eve...

Ther are meant as terms of endearment, but I really don't like being called "sweet" or "sweety". It's something you call you gay male friend. I disagree. Women tend to call everybody "sweet" or "sweety", both women and men (gay or straight or whatever). But if a guy calls someone "sweet" or "sweety...

What do you mean exactly? Are you asking, why someone stops having a crush on someone? It has something to do with brain chemistry/biology. Basically, a crush lasts for about 6 moths to 2 years. (usually, if I remember right) The feeling of having a crush is chemistry in your brain, and it'll worn o...

I've been a fan on Silent Hill for a couple of years now, but it doesn't scare me anymore. It is a great series still, because it's much more than only the terror. I really like the stories, and soundtracks. Also, nowadays I find SH more disturbing than scary. But I do like that too. It's disturbing...
