| The questions in relation to your child "controlling" your life are ambiguous, and difficult to answer. They are worded in such a way that they seem to imply a deliberate attempt, on the part of the child, to exert control. But then, you could also be trying to determine to what extent, if any, the... |

| Need to have a "not applicable" option for the religious/pritual questions. Some of us are atheists and putting an answer there might be misleading in some way. Thanks CWA, you make a good point. It's not something that we can change, but what you have said will help us to interpret the results mor... |

| I also chew on the skin in my mouth and skin around my nails. It seems to me that I do it when I am a bit anxious about something - I try and bite down on my tongue when I notice I'm doing it, or do some deep breathing. |

Hi MakaylaTheAspie,
Sorry - I wasn't very clear, the research isn't limited to parents of boys, I just developed my interest from working with boys! Parents of girls and boys are all invited!
Thanks for your reply,

I completely agree, I think it's really important for research to be relevant and useful. My research question was based... |

Hi everyone,
I'm just wondering whether it is okay for me to post the link to a current research study interested in the experiences of parents of children with Autism, or whether that would not be welcome in this forum.
Thanks in advance,
Andrew |
