I want to go under electroshock therapy like john elder robison did. To get the normal parts of the brain switched on. However I don’t have the funds for it. I didn't know John Elder Robison had ECT. I wonder why he had it. I've had it too, about six months after I joined WP. I had eight sessions i...

Yes I did have to take the lead and ask her out. That was scary. I did have one serious girlfriend before her where we were friends first for a couple of months before she suggested that we go out on a date.

Hank Hill, of King Of The Hill. While he had been a successful high school football player, he has an obsession with propane and all things associated with the business that doesn't fit with the cool student athlete he had once been. And while he is good at his job as a salesman and manager, the ob...

Hi: I think that in addition to Sheldon, I think that Raj, Howard, and Amy are on the spectrum too. I sometimes wonder about Leonard. I also think that Lilo is on the spectrum herself because she can't seem to take hint when someone is not a friend. The creator of The Big Bang Theory said Sheldon i...

i have been using Brave for the past couple of years. In addition to supposedly being one of the most private, it has ad blocking built in, so I believe when you watch Youtube videos on it they are never interrupted by ads (I could be wrong on that, though). If you are using a phone the Newpipe app ...

That is kind of what i was thinking. Any planet that was orbiting it star that quickly would be so close to the star that it would be fried by the heat.

From what I have learned from the limited research i have done in this area, about the only way to get privacy on the internet is to use a VPN. Even then you need to do some research on which VPNs are the most private. I have heard good things about Nord VPN. I tried Surfshark but it slowed some thi...

Rain Man really overdid it with the savant skills. A true savant would have one special skill, not half a dozen like Dustin Hoffman did.

I thought The Blair Witch Project was really overhyped as well. I didn't find it the least bit scary. When we were walking out of the theater a guy behind me summed it up perfectly, he said "That was just 3 kids running around in the woods cussing."

For a couple of years after having COVID in October 2020 I seemed to be more sensitive to cold than before. That seems to be pretty much going away now. Since having COVID I haven't had Bronchitis when I used to get it about every winter. Did have a 6 week long sinus infection back in 2022-2023. Tha...

I don't know what the critics said, but Lady in the Water wasn't a movie that I enjoyed. Not one of M. Night's better movies. Dr. Sleep was a big letdown as a sequel to The Shining. Did anyone else have a problem with Danny going back to the Overlook after it had been abandoned for 40 years and the ...

This is kind of the whole point of Existentialism and Thrownness. We are thrown into a life that we didn't choose and have to try to make sense of it. The futility of existence.

That sounds really bad. Can you become a mountain hermit? What is project 25? Edit: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_2025 Critics of Project 2025 have described it as an authoritarian Christian nationalist movement[16] and a path for the United States to become an autocracy. jeeessh.
