It's Outlook Express but there's no icon for it anywhere else besides the bottom of the thingee with all the buttons at the top of the window you see when you're online. I'm really not at all computer literate so I need things as easy as possible.

On a default Windows setup, there is an Outlook Express icon in the list after you click Start > All Programs. If you are using the Classic Start menu, then the icon should be under Start > Programs. Once you found it, you can drag the icon to the desktop if you want.

With the default Start menu, you can also make the icon appears above the recent programs list by right clicking on the task bar, then click Properties > "Start Menu" tab > Customize...
Near the bottom of the first tab (General), there's a section named "Show on Start menu". Make sure the checkbox beside E-mail is checked and the program in the list is the one you wanted (Outlook Express).

MattShizzle, which version of Windows are you using? And what kind of e-mail are you using? Opera could be a good choice, it also has a button for your e-mail (though it would not be Outlook Express). You can post here or PM me if you need help setting up your e-mail in Opera. Or, we could help you set up Thunderbird for your e-mail- Thunderbird is very nice. Yet another option is to simply find Outlook Express in your menu and make a desktop shortcut for it.
