It's good and I highly recommend anyone using Windows to try it. But my main point is this:

Just in case someone get confused, the kind of sandboxing provided by Sandboxie and chrome is entirely different.

They are both called sandbox but they are different technology with different purpose. The bottom line is Chrome's sandbox won't help containing flash.

Wasn't there a thread awhile back that Flash was using something (inaccurately) called "supercookies" and that they were allowing developers to store all kinds of information on client machines using this method? Is this what you're running into? It sounded like a way for ad developers to track you across the public Internet without having to worry about the pesky user deleting their regular http cookies.

Why are you using an embedded machine to surf the net anyway? Seems like the wrong tool for the job.

if you want people to take you seriously explain the problem instead of making baseless accusations like

Embedded can mean anything from tablet/netbooks to mobile phone/pdas. In fact the word embedded is somewhat ambiguous nowadays. Embedded systems used to refer to working with (P)ICs on PCBs, basically modern electronics post microchip, and solid state/FLASH memory/hardware is a result of that. The idea of an embedded system is they were very task specific and a small number of tasks. So nowadays true embedded systems are in irons, kettle, or wrist watches. It has also been called mechatronics. They usually don't have a true OS, simply low-level programming, programmable gates/logic, etc.

Personally I don't like the term "sandboxing", because "sandbox" is already used as a term for development environments.

No sleep for me until my machines are working,
No sleep for you with Lucy in the Sky with D iamonds.

I need to permanently exterminate a Flashplayer infestation.
That is the only problem.
But it is the hardest problem I have ever encountered in
30 years of extraordinary prolific computing experience.

The intrusion has escalated on the single remaining PC here
so that instead of entering and installing around the blocking
hardware and software every minute, it now modifies the
OS to write protect itself against the owner of the system.
Although I am using a VM, with no hard drive and can dump
the RAM, Flashplayer now installs immediately upon
going online, and now write protects itself,
and cannot be removed while online.
Understand that I have NOT updated ANYTHING since being
completely offline and unplugged for a day!

These are links to images of directories including
hidden files including flashplayer directories,
"Before" and "After" connecting to the internet.
I finally figured out how to post them without
infecting more machines.
