I'm kidding. I have a GED and I'm doing fine. You don't need college. It's just a waste of time and money...

You may not need college but if your passion is Math you should.
It's better to go to school to study your obsessive interest rather than spend hours obsessing over it while working in a job that your not passionate about. Just saying.

http://www.khanacademy.org/ is free and, in my humble opinion, just as good. All that is needed is the desire and commitment to learn, which DuneyBlues seems to have.

Khanacademy is barely sufficient for undergrad applied mathematics. Good for stuff like basic linear algebra, not for Kolmogorov backward equations.
