Maybe they could make a rat with a humans head.

Wouldn't that just make the size issues worse? I mean I can't imagine a tiny rat body dragging a full-sized human head around would work out well in any sense except comedically.

Yeah it would look funny. Anyway some rats are very big.

I think the notion I have is that with genetic anything would be possible. But maybe not everything would feasible or desireable, or would work out well.

Actually, the thing that matters is the ratio between the size of the rest of the body and the size of the brain.

I don't know much on biology or genetics at all, all I know is just from my general science course I do at school. But I remember ever since I was 6 I have always wanted to have wings. I remember every day after school and when ever I could I would look into information on the internet about genetic engineering. Even now I would still love that so so much, I guess as I grew up I saw how far out of my reach it was and never tried to pursue that dream :P

That is cool! I would love wings too. I suppose it may be possible but I think they would also have to give big chest muscles and perhaps a more efficient heart to gather the energy to lift off the ground.

If you were to work on it you'll probably need more than one lifetime of research to change genetic expression and implement all that in a human. Because a human's genetic data is much more complicated than a rat's or a fruit fly's.
