Oh Lord! That is so Aspie-ish. I think the love of raptors, especially velocoraptors should be a membership requirement to Nerds International.

I know. I think it gave my parents a bit of a hint that I was odd. Though I was their first child, so for all they knew, memorising dinosaur names could easily have been normal behaviour. In retrospect, the signs were there.

No living reptile is descended from dinosaurs. Though crocs and alligators are living dinosaur cousins.
Yep reptiles are actually older than dinosaurs. The crocs and alligators descended from thecodonts where dinosaurs branched off.
