I have two separate machines so I have Vista and 7 Beta running at the same time. I thought about dual-booting, which I've done before with Linux, but I hate the concept of dual-booting because I like leaving programs open and I have to completely restart and go to the new operating system AFTER closing programs, which I find, really annoying.
I had installed Windows 7 in my laptop, and it worked--save for the glass effects, which was not supported by my video card. That was a letdown, but nonetheless, it worked for me.

Windows 9x was never really a 32bit operating system. Windows 1 - 4 were DOS based. NT 3.51 was of course NT. Windows 2000/XP/Vista/Seven are NT based.
Windows 95 ran in 32-bit protected mode. It was quite 32-bit. That doesn't mean it was good, I'm just saying it was 32-bit.
