I, personally, believe that the survivor of the RMS Titanic, Lawrence Beesley had AS. He was socially inadequate, apparently. He was obsessed with Science and the sinking of the RMS Titanic, he wrote an elaborate book, and he was an utter bookworm. Here is a clip from the 1979 film S.O.S Titanic.
