Hi guys. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find a free blog content management system for a personal website?

I've just been getting into web development, and since our university has dedicated server space available for student websites, I was thinking about building a blog site to test my developer ability, as well as get my opinion on life, the universe, and everything.

As a student you should have access to any of the software on the site...

The answer would depend on what the server runs, your own level of skill, and what you want to do exactly. Try checking out the "Content Management Systems" page of Wikipedia, and look over the various FOSS options. You're pretty sure to find something you like.
