Hiding YouTube referral links?

I want to post some videos on here but I do not wish for the link to show up on YouTube's referral stats. How may I go about it?

I think from your Youtube account: click Account Settings
on the left side column choose:Privacy
from the list: clear the tick in Statistics and Data

I am only guessing but someone else may give a definate answer.
