What OS's does everyone use here? I have an Acer Aspire One A150 dual booting Windows XP Home Edition and Ubuntu 11.04 Natty Narwhal. (sorry for getting to much into the deets, its an aspie thing ;-) )

I use Fedora 15 on my laptop (only switched since they stopped supporting Fedora 12) and Debian 6.0 (Squeeze) on my desktop. I also like to mess around with GNU Mach + Hurd in a virtual machine setting.

I'm currently using windows 7, I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised with the quality, it seems like it's the new xp. I did toy around with linux for a while, I used ubuntu for a few years and loved it, but it just doesn't have the software support. I always missed photoshop/office and games. I got the first two running in wine with various degrees of success and I do miss the level of 'immersion' you felt with the os in linux. It's more like a partnership than an os to 'use'. Maybe I'll dual-boot someday (although unity doesn't appeal, may try a different distro).

Linux (I distro-hop, presently using the most recent Mint with KDE installed over it) in a dual-boot with Windows, which I keep around "just in case" I really need to use it for something.

A desktop and lappy both with linux mint, the desktop has dual boot with Win 7. I have Win 7 installed "just in case" but have not booted into it for at least 6 months. Everything I need can be found either for free in the linux repos, or I am able to run it via wine. My smartphone runs Android 3. As of this moment in time Linux and its variants are the best we have
