I have had two people wanting to befriend me on messenger. I have no idea who they are so I blocked them.
But when I logged in today I got a message that one of them had added me as a contact and the invitations were back. I've blocked them again but I'm worried that my computer might be compromised somehow!
I don't know much about computers so I need someone to tell me if it's a common thing to get invitations from strangers or if I should worry.

Thanks!

It happens. It doesn't mean you have malware on your system. It's more like getting spam. Even the spam that seems to come from your e-mail address doesn't mean anything. (Unless it is sent to people in your address book...)

The only time you should worry is if you let them contact you. Then, you could get something nasty on your system. But right now, it sounds like they're just messing with the messenger system to try to trick / pressure people into opening the door. Don't.

As long as you don't open that door, don't worry.

Thanks for the answer!
Sense I don't know much about computers I tend to get a bit paranoid :?
