Yes, i was an official mentor from 2006 Linden Labs ended the mentor program however there are a bunch of official mentor groups and i am part of 4 of them and widely recognised as my character there as one of the top architect/builder/designers in SL and a mentor too. In SL i am as i wished i might be in life but am not. So SL is an escape into a fantasy ideal virtual life. But i am still a mentor and can answer almost anything about the virtual world of Second Life.. Its not a game and has real in/out economy. There re about 3 people who have now become millionares with the in and out economies. Top selling thing is women's fashions and many could compete with real world and some are real seamstress or tailors. Its perfect place to test a concept in many ways. It is a social platform. ALL in the world except original continents was made by those in it. I have been in SL since 2005. I am a sim manager and have a tier 6 account.
Since i am still a volunteer mentor and am known for how i respect evryone i am still known to Linden Labs in my characters as a mentor and last i checked i googled over 600 hits on my sl name
