First off, I'd like to say that I'm asking this because I'm almost at my wits end with this problem I've been having downloading ringtones for free on my Iphone. I will explain the issue below:
Basically, I don't have the money to download any ringtones off the Itunes Store, which means that I will have to download them for free seeing as I cannot make ringtones out of voice memos like I could with previous phones. There are apps that have free ringtone sections that you can get if you "jailbreak" the phone (as I had a friend do with mine), but they only have a small few that I like (I managed to download those) and there are a few in particular that I am looking for that they do not have. So, I end up going to various websites where you can make and download your own tones for free, and while I can make them fine, I can't seem to download them without going through Itunes, which is fine except for one problem: It won't sync anything to the phone (although it will sync s**t from it just fine) even though the cable is fully plugged in and I am following their instructions exactly as they say. At this point, I'd love to call and b***h or something of that nature, as it doesn't seem to really address this in their FAQ/Guide, but I am asking you guys in the hope that maybe there is someone out there who can either tell me how to get around the Itunes requirement or fix the syncing problem.
