Anyone here find a YouTube channel that makes honest and interesting videos about science or math, and then you just can't seem to stop watching them? To be fair, I watch YouTube videos every single day and so I'm used to watching tons of videos at a time, but the YouTube channels SciShow and numberphile are most addictive channels I've found recently. Numberphile is just being plain awesome because I love numbers and math and SciShow has a very entertaining and expressive host that, at the same time, says some hilariously awkward remarks here and there and the few real jokes he makes come completely out of left field. For those interested, here's a small sample of what these channels have to offer:

numberphile: Root 2

SciShow: Why No Giant Mammals?

I hope you guys enjoy. : D

The real reason I like SciShow is that it does well at avoiding the more "educational" or mundane presentation of things, like, well, minutephysics. The host is the key to this though, not necessarily the content, but nonetheless I watch what I watch because it's more interesting, and if it's more interesting, it's doing something right compared to the competition.

Um, now I do? Maybe? Let me watch their videos. It might not be the kind of content I like, I'm picky about that kind of stuff, even if the video is funny. Hank is cool and all, buuuuuut, what I just said may apply to it.

As I was writing this, I watched some of them. It seems to be a channel like VSauce that have cool people and some pretty cool content here and there, too, but seem to be all over the place with what they do. And that's just not to my tastes, at all. : \

Oh okay, I really like their videos I've been watching them for about 4 years now, although I just watch the ones I find interesting. Just checked out numberphile, it's really interesting, thanks for sharing :) I now understand zero better haha.

You watch the ones you find interesting? I guess, in the end, the reason I don't like channels like that is because I don't have the patience to look for ones that I'd like. You would seem to be quite a fan of them since you've been watching them since before I really discovered the awesomeness of YouTube after watching Minecraft videos in early 2011. But moving on, numberphile is especially great to me, I think I've watched all of their videos, and what you said is exactly what'd I want to hear from someone that I recommended that channel to. If you're interested, there's this channel called Sixty Symbols that is run by the same person that films the numberphile videos, and it goes over tons and tons of different things in the realm of physics. Here's what I think would be an interesting one, it's one of its few "viewer question" videos:

Sixty Symbols: What happens if black holes collide?

I wish that there were such things when I was young! Such were not unknown. To people. Even if they were back then. Would then help hundreds or thousands people with math or science problems. But enjoyed it. But when truly learned it. But the resources are still blocked!
