How is it that in the UK after medical school people get MD.

In UK and US for that matter, while in Poland they just get professional title of Physician with is equivalent to MA degree in other science or Eng. MA (Mgr. inż, Magister inżynier) in engineering (or technical science)

We use title Physician of medicine for for "doctor" after graduation (we also had Physician of dental medicine and even Physician of Veterinary medicine :mrgreen: )

They all need to finish 6 years of university education before they become "physician" we call them customary as "doctors" even if they not per see Ph.D degree, for this they need additional "doctoral study" and become for exemple "Doctor of Medical Sciences" with certain specialization like cardiology, neurology etc.

I have to admit that I'd like to be a doctor but I'm a bit too old for this :(
