Does anyone plan to see this movie? I might see it on Memorial Day.

Saw it. It's fun. My favorite is still "Last Crusade" but this one was definitely and "Indy Jones" film. They appear to have left it open for sequels. I hope so....

Well, even though I did not initially want to see it, I ended up seeing it this morning anyway. To be honest, it was a lot better than I thought it would be. It kept me quite entertained. 8)

It wasn't as good as the originals, but it wasn't bad. I did think the CGI looked a bit fake and out-of-place. It had some good humor, though.

In general, it feels like something you might enjoy more when it's older.

I'm a huge fan of the series & can't wait for the DVD release. I don't do theaters.. germs & crowds. Ick. You are all so lucky to see it on the big screen.

I really wished they had ditched the CGI and done the effects old school style, as a throwback. That's where a lot of the charm of the first Indy movie, and arguably the first Star Wars movies came from. The CGI just looks too slick and modern for this film.

it's better than temple of doom
but you guys are crazy in saying that that one is the best, IT SUCKS! everything is the cheesy hollywood stereotype, shreiking damsell in distress, trusty asian american child sidekick who would follow indie to heck and back. COME ON it is just stupid,
indie 4 is not as good as 3 and 1, but those are amazing ones, it's hard to beat them, crystal skull has a cheesy plot (SPOILER: aliens) but it's creative, it's good, but nothing special.

here's my ranking:
1. raiders of the lost ark (you can't beat the first that is why it beats number indie number three but they are about equal to me really)
2. last crusade
3. crystal skull (cue twilight zone theme)
4. temple of doom (this is either fanfiction or a plot to make lots of money, but either way, I wish I could put it farther down)

if any mods want to delete that spoiler I have, feel free.

okay, you must not have payed attention to the movie then, if aliens weren't part of the plot line, even the title (not to mention the ending which i will not spoil) would be something different!! !

that was awesome!
of course, lots of hollywood physics that make it impossible like a fridge that is completely air tight, the fact that he could survive a fall like that and that he could survive the radiation from climbing out of the fridge, but hollywood phyisics is used in videogames too, it's even worse there, with surviving 100 bullet wounds, and a replenishable health by eating a med pack, but i still enjoy that stuff, that part was cool

They're not space aliens, they're interdimensional beings - from "the space between spaces", as Oxley points out.

I saw it when I first came out friday before last. Going then was a mistake because the theater was too crowded and noisy (why is it so hard for some idiots to sit still and keep their hands off of thier cell phones during a movie? :x ).
I never was a real big Indiana Jones fanatic but I've seen the previous ones so I figured I'd see this one, too.
It's a typical Indy movie but with better special effects than the early ones. It's worth seeing if you've seen the others but go when the theaters aren't so crowded.

By the way, did anybody else think that the plot was very similar to the Crystal Skull episode of Stargate SG-1

Check out the episode summary: http://www.gateworld.net/sg1/s3/321.shtml
