T1.. The other good Micheal Biehn film.
T2 .. notable for a rare and accurate "nuclear bombing" scene.
T3.. Rise of The Product Placements.

Putting aside all the daft paradox stuff, one thing really irritates me.. They cant transport machinery, only living tissue.. fair enough. A terminator is encased in living tissue, apparently fooling the transport. Starting to stretch it, but OK.. Arnie can quite happily cut himself open without ill effect.. so why not have a Robocop-style Leg Gun thinger? He could just scalpel his way in and BAM.. future space gun deathg-o-rama!!

Better yet, why not just encase a nuke IN living tissue and send that? It only has to be alive long enough to post...

Otherwise.. good fun.

I like all three, but T2 is the best.

The first two were good. Third one, not so good. Unnecessary really.

8) I completely agree about that. Is there a fourth in progress? I don't think I'll watch it really.

What series? There was only one Terminator movie.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it...

I liked Terminator 1 and 3. Terminator 2 had an annoying kid and a happy ending - bleah!

I agree that the third one wasn´t as good as the first two as there a lot of inconsistencies with the storyline. But both T1 and T2 are terrific films, I can´t really decide which is better.

Honestly I never saw them, and never wanted to. By the time I would have been interested in them, Ahnold became the governor of my state. He's a horrible governor, and I hate him so much by now that I can't stand watching any of his movies. I'm sure I would have liked them if not for that though...I tend to like well-done action movies.

You know what's really telling about American culture? The only movie to have two governors starring in it is "Predator." That one also had Jesse Ventura, the former wrestler who became a governor. Seriously...what the f**k is up with this country? lol...

I heard David Fincher might direct Terminator 4, if this is true.

Sweet, David Fincher is one of my favorite directors. If he directs an Arnold-less T4, I'd definitely see that.

I am OBSESSED with the movies. I nearly had a freak out when I heard a fourth film could be made and Edward Furlong will be back as John Connor. :D

I saw the third movie first, because it came out in the theaters when I was 18, just old enough to see R-rated movies alone, and then I rented the first two. When I first saw the third movie in the theaters, I thought it was rather impressive, however, after renting the the first two to gain a better understanding of what led up to the events of the third, I agreed, that the first two, especially the second one, completely beat out the third out in all respects, by far. The masterpiece that makes those first two movies can never be compared to anything, especially the relative lackluster reality of the third movie.

me too. and it's so clean and mean and pure. whereas the second is already getting too waffly.tho' there's some good special effects there's nothing as scary as when they're fighting arnie in the factory warehouse in no.1 ,and bits of twisted metal have a terrifying life of their own!

And what do you expect from the fourth movie? What would you like to see in it?

I've just watched episode 1 of the TV series. Not bad but not great. Worth a watch. I'll get the other one soon I think.
