I watched the Last of Us s02e01. It's still good but I like both Joel and Ellie and it makes me sad to see their relationship like that.

I watched the first episode of Adolescence and again, it's good but it's also very upsetting. Can't say I enjoyed it.

Also, the one shot thing - I wish they wouldn't do that. I guess it's supposed to be more lifelike but for me I'm constantly thinking about it, thinking about the camera placement, the blocking, I'm looking for hidden edits. It's distracting.

Last of Us s02e02. Well at least I don't have to worry about it being a season of Joel and Ellie being sh***y with each other.

Goosebumps
Season 1 (1998) on Netflix

episode 3 and 4, A Night in Terror Tower Part 1 and 2

Part 1, which I watched early last week (maybe 7 days ago?), is about a brother and sister that take a tour in the "Terror Tower." Weird things happen.
Part 2, the children, are pursued, and are sent back in time where a story plays out that I'm pretty familiar with by now.
It is roughly the story of King Richard III, and the brothers that were locked up and whose fate remains a mystery.
This is why I'm familiar with the story. On YouTube, I listened to the story of Humpty Dumpty and King Richard III. It was on the channel Well, I Never: These Nursery Rhymes Have Dark Origins (And Were Nearly Banned!).
This morning I stared listening to the latest episode of Stuff You Should Know: Richard III: Good Guy or Evil Putz?
Then tonight I decided to watch episode 4 of Goosebumps. It was obvious it was based on the story of the princes and the evil king.

None of this was planned. It was just happy coincidences spread out over a twenty-four hour period.

That brings back a memory of some academics who thought he wasn't deformed, and that it was just propaganda spread around by his opponents after they'd nobbled him and taken over the crown. Of course that theory was aired some time before they found his skeleton under the car park. Bet they're feeling silly now.

More episodes of Matlock (Kathy Bates version). It still goes too fast for me to follow the plot's details, but I get a lot of the fragments and it's more than watchable.

Last episode of Black Mirror S7. It had its moments for sure, but I should have re-watched the old episode it was a sequel to first to bring me back up to speed on what it was all about. So some of it went a bit over my head, but again it was more than watchable, and I might go back to it one day and understand it a bit better, if I get so bored that I start looking for repeats.
