The Monster.

A mother, suffering from alcoholism, is returning her daughter to her ex's house, when after taking a side road into the forest to avoid road construction, get into a car wreck trying to avoid a deadfall in the road, and accidentally hitting a wolf. Calling for a tow truck and ambulance, they come to realize that the wolf, hurt and bleeding already, was fleeing from something, and that they are not alone in the dark. Help comes, only to provide food for the thing in the woods. Mother and daughter, who have had a terrible relationship, rediscover their love for each other in their fight to stay alive.
Decent enough horror flick. Thankfully, they didn't use CG for the monster, but a combination of costume and animatronics.

Sounds interesting. I might check it out.

Thanks I will check it out.

You might like it. :)

Jug Face.

In an isolated backwoods community, a potter frequently goes into a trance to make ceramic faces of the next human sacrifices to the pit - or rather, the things that lives in it - in return for health and prosperity. When a local teenage girl discovers it's her face, she steals and hides it. To make things worse, she has been impregnated by her brother, and then finds she's to be wed to a local boy, but only if she's a virgin. The pit wants what the pit wants, so the thing within it begins killing the local people till it gets what it wants.
Very good horror film.

Arrival (2016)

I didn't like it. Although it brought some interesting elements to the table; it was slow moving, overly dramatic, and too unclear for me to enjoy.
