Guardians of the Galaxy 2. It was good enough. I preferred the first one.

Thor: Ragnarok.

This movie's mood is more in the league of Guardians Of The Galaxy, making it one of the funner Marvel movies. Trying to save Asgard from the prophetic doom promised in the Ragnarok legends, Thor finds himself diverted to a whole other world where he is forced to be a gladiator - - facing off against the reigning champion, the Hulk! Meanwhile, the goddess of death, Hella, Thor's older sister (I know, in Norse/Germanic mythology, she was no such thing) has taken over Asgard. Thor must align himself with Loki, the Hulk, and a rogue Valkyrie to escape to save Asgard. Thor isn't always at his manliest or bravest here, much to the great humor of this movie. And at one point Thor tells the Hulk that he was the dumbest Avenger. Well, if the Hulk is the dumbest, then Thor is definitely giving Hulk a run for his money regarding that title!

Get out - I really enjoyed it, interesting concept.

The autopsy of Jane Doe - A surprisingly good horror film; very original.

Gerald's game - It was quite good, but the ending was too neatly tied up and abrupt. The characters in Stephen King's novels tend to have a lot of internal dialogue, and that doesn't always translate well on to screen but it worked pretty well in this film.

Saw 3. I thought I was pretty inured to gore, but man, that rotting pig slurry... :eew: Otherwise, though, I liked it well enough.

Die Hard 2- Liked it.
Dante's Peak- I remember really liking it in 97 and I thought that it stills holds up.

Saw 4. I had trouble keeping track of who was who. It would probably help if I wasn't faceblind :hmph:
