MNS is quite a polarizing director but I tend to like his work. However, I don't think they are brilliant films. Maybe with the exception of "Sixth Sense", they are average to good. His stories while intriguing and original are also somewhat flawed in one way or another.

"Split" is right there among all his other films. I like it very much yet it's far from a masterpiece. Unfortunately I can't comment further for fear of accidentally issuing spoilers but I think you get the gist.

It is one of my favorite movies and I cannot wait for the sequels to come out. With stunning visual effects and an engaging plot line, I would watch this movie a thousand times before I could get sick of it. I can practically play it in my head word for word (collector’s extended).

200 Degrees.

A stock broker wakes up in a sealed room with metal walls, and heating coils hanging from the ceiling. The voice from the intercom says he has one hour to get him (the captor) one million dollars of his own money. He calls his brother, a cop, to find him, but when the police track the phone signal, they found it had been rerouted to an empty warehouse. So he must scheme and lie, and beg to get the money, as the room becomes unbearably hot. But as the story continues, the truth emerges that he is not exactly an innocent victim.
Shoe string budget, no name actors, and poor dubbing for the actors, but still a surprisingly good movie.

Spielberg did a fine job on this film.

Not fond of wrestling, but a good movie nonetheless. I knew that John du Pont was trouble when I saw him on there.
