Is that the new movie with Casey Afleck, or the older one with all those old farts and the guy who looks like Bill Maher?

Casey Afleck. I didn't really understand what was happening.

I have never heard of the other one.

The other movie was from the eighties, with a group of old men (Fred Astaire and John Houseman among others) having to face up to the horrible and cowardly act they had committed as young men, when they, and the son of one of their number, are haunted by the ghost of a young woman they hoped they had forgotten a long time before. Pretty decent horror movie.

Sleepy Hollow.
I enjoyed it once again.

Atomic Blonde

Good choreographed fighting scenes with a nice 80's new wave soundtrack.

Rodan.

Japanese 1950's monster movie about a couple giant prehistoric flying creatures that are awakened by mining and global warming (yes, global warming - - it seems Japan was onto that threat long before us) and go on a rampage of Japan, creating hurricane force winds. While the special effects and acting haven't aged well, both my wife and I were moved by the deaths of the two Rodan monsters, as were the human movie characters. This was in fact the Japanese language film with English sub titles - - much preferable than the ridiculously dubbed over version I watched as a kid.
