Metropolitan

It is a film by the director/screenwriter Whit Stillman. I like the way he writes dialog, and the way his actors delivers it.

(I think I've post this movie before. I re-watch a lot of films.)

Barcelona (1994)

Whit Stillman's second film. Lots of dead pan humor. Not necessarily a comedy though.

That Star Wars Rouge One...it was really sad, I am glad I saw it because it kind of explains how the weakness in the death star was found which I had been kind of curious about...just found it really sad all the main characters died. Was really starting to like that girl and the sarcastic/cheeky robot and then they just died.

Now I think I understand my brothers dissapointment with seeing it in the theater, he thought it was going to be the sequel of the last one....but he just ended up seeing a movie everyone dies, so now I see why he was bothered about having gone to see it in the theater when that is not what he thought it would be. I think he also feels stupid about thinking it was the sequal and being wrong that is probably a big part of it....

Young Sherlock Holmes.
An entertaining 1985 throwback.

Damsels in Distress

Whit Stillman's fourth film. It's charmingly funny.

I will skip Love and Friendship. Though Whit Stillman wrote the screenplay, and directed it, Jane Austin wrote the story.

Krampus.

Christmas/horror film about what happens to you when you lose the Christmas spirit... and don't keep the fire going.

I found it both sad and funny. It was mostly sad. I liked it though.

I remember this movie creeped me out, especially that scene with the old wheelchair, if anyone knows what I'm referring to.
