IMO, Disney needs to stop relying on remakes of its own stuff, reboots, and franchise films to continue to be taken seriously. Disney should consider giving original, more worthy films a chance in its name, IMO 1906 (by Brad Bird) has been in development limbo for years and Bird still hasn't given up on it.

Yes, you are right about The Golden Girls. The TV show will always be a classic, so Disney should keep its hands off a potential reboot of The Golden Girls for a new generation as a TV show.

I actually really love horror movies!

But I mostly prefer watching the older stuff from the 60's (Night of the Living Dead, Carnival of Souls, Rosemary's Baby), 70's (Carrie, The Omen, The Shining, Suspiria, Zombie, The Beyond), 80's (Children of the Corn, Pumpkinhead, Day of the Dead, The Fog, The Return of the Living Dead, Phenomena), 90's (the remake of Night of the Living Dead, Sleepy Hollow, Ringu, The Blair Witch Project, Ju-On: The Grudge 1 and 2, The Craft, The Sect), and early 2000's (Dawn of the Dead remake, Land of the Dead, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.)

Also I'm a fan of the original German silent horror film version of Nosferatu and I really like House on Haunted Hill starring Vincent Price

But I really quit watching the new horror stuff lately because it doesnt have the same charm to me that the golden oldies had. The ones I listed i can remember renting from the video rental stores as a kid because my parents didnt really care what I watched. Good memories and good times watching zombies, ghosts, and devils.

Why is that every where I go I see generation bashing? It's like no one wants me to exist because of a generalization. I am probably better off writing letters to friends and not go on forums ever again.

Pretty much Disney's version of Star Wars is just plain crap (Bad Batch and Maul are said to be good, but still).

The Life List (2025).

I tried to watch this film but there's just so much wrong with it. Firstly, the audio does not match up with the mouths. I assumed it was dubbed. Nope, it's an English movie. So I wondered if was my Internet or my TV acting up. Nope. I can only assume that they had to redub the lines because maybe the actor's microphones were too quiet or something. Did they forget to give them individual mics? What happened here?

Also, the speech is flat. Completely flat in tone and pitch, doesn't even go up when asking a question. A little strange but I figured I might be able to get past that.

There's no extras. No one. Which is weird! I'm fairly sure it's set in what I assume is New York or some other large bustling American city. Where is everyone? I didn't expect thousands but not even one extra? Not even some stock footage of extras? That's a little distracting.

Also, it's missing sound. I know that in films they typically add ambience in after the fact, but I guess they forgot to do that here. People interact with objects that should make sound but they don't. The supposedly busy streets have no car sounds, no birds tweeting, just silence.

My expections going into this film were low, I was expecting an average mediocre film at best but I didn't get very far at all because the audio and lack of extras was just so strange!
