Happy Death Day

Since it was a Blum House horror flick, I was expecting some gore. I've seen more blood, though, than in any random episode of Criminal Minds. This movie was aimed towards the teen market so maybe that's why I thought it was relatively boring and made no sense.

Star Wars-The last Jedi. It was sentimental to see Luke Skywalker and Leia again but I didn`t feel the same magic as I did when I saw Return of the Jedi. It is perhaps unfair though because I was twelve then.

I still somehow wish I felt more engaged and moved by the movie than I did. I liked both Rough one and The force awakens better. But I will be watching the next one.

Gothic.

Account of the summer Mary Godwin (Shelley), her lover poet Percy Shelley, and her half sister Claire spent at the home of fellow poet Lord Byron and his part time lover and biographer, John Polidori. There, indulging in drug use and performing an exorcism, they believe they have released their own vengeful monster, giving birth to Mary's later novel, Frankenstein. Very enjoyable movie. Since first seeing it years before, I have always visualized Lord Byron as Gabriel Byrne.

The Fiance'.

Terrible, terrible movie about a dirty businessman who gets his comeuppance after his fiance is bitten by a Bigfoot... and she turns into a Werebigfoot! Need alcohol to watch this one.
