God, that movie was awful!

interesting film. Especially in the post 9/11 world up to and including today.

Fun horror flick to watch during the Halloween season.

Dark Mountain.

Found footage horror film very derivative of The Blair Witch Project, but still manages to pull off being a decent movie. Three film makers making a documentary about discovering the Lost Dutchman's mine in the wilds of the Southwest, despite warnings from locals, are suddenly trapped in a nightmare world of madness and growing supernatural horror.

Gone With the Wind.

Such a blatantly racist portrayel of slavery, and yet the movie itself is great and Scarlett is a true badass lady.

A psychopath (Dennis Quaid playing against type) sells his spacious house out in the country to an up-and-coming couple... but he has other plans of his own in this psychological horror film.

Perfect Skin.

A young Polish woman, having relocated to London, has been moving from one friend's apartment to another, when she's been kidnapped by an expatriate American tattoo artist. Psychologically coming apart due to his divorce and his ongoing Parkinson's which threatens his livelihood, the tattoo artist has decided to turn this young woman into a work of art. The full body tattoos are only the first of this process. A very good psychological horror film.

The Satanic Rites Of Dracula (1973)

USA Title: Count Dracula And His Vampire Bride


An attempt by Hammer to bring the Dracula series up to date by making the Count into a sinister business tycoon in 1970s Britain. Didn't get great reviews, but definitely better than the previous year's Dracula AD 1972. Christopher Lee didn't think much of it either, and refused to take part in any more such films.

Also stars a young Joanna Lumley, as the granddaughter of Van Helsing (Peter Cushing).
