E.T. The Extra Terrestrial - Don't get me wrong this is a really good movie, but it has a few nitpicks that are probably worth mentioning. Elliott is kinda annoying at times especially when he's yelling but I don't hate him and I have to be honest I think the little girl is really annoying (yeah I know it's Drew Barrymore) but still. I haven't seen the film in a while but I think there are a few other nitpicks but honestly it's a really good film and I may buy it on blu ray someday. I have to be honest there are a few other movies that sorta have the same plot of E.T. I like better. You know the whole bonding between a child and his/her pet dog, alien etc. Two in particular I love are The Iron Giant and How To Train Your Dragon.

Gone with the Wind

Really, it is not a great movie. It is sleazy melodrama - nothing more, nothing less.

V for Vendetta. I don't know of any movie that's more overrated than that piece of s**t.

I also think the first Michael Bay Transformers movie was WAY overhyped. I was overly appalled as to how popular it was because I thought it was complete garbage. Most people only felt that way about the second and third movies. I thought it was s**t from the very beginning.

EDIT: Going back, I forgot to mention Titanic. I saw the movie only once, a long time ago when it was first released on video (DVDs were new and rare back then). I thought it was a really good movie, but it didn't blow me away even for a love story. It's beyond me as to why it stayed in the theater for 8+ months. I don't think even Star Wars has been shown in theaters for that long.

Gosford Park

A well-reviewed drama/comedy murder mystery that won an Oscar for best screenplay and was nominated for best picture. People talk about having to watch the film 3 times to follow the story and how awesome it is, Thats not awesome. Thats deluding yourself into thinking you didnt waste 7 hours watching that turd 3 times. Part of the problem is being able to understand anything anyone says, I usually have no problems with English accents, but when they mumble and mutter everything incoherently you can't tell whats going on or if what they said was supposed to be funny or not. And there is no murder apparently until 2/3rds through the film, I was bored and turned it off long before then.
