Hi meadow, there's a little surprise for you in the 'Members only discussion' forum,

I was going to send you a 'heads up' in a pm, but since I'm here...
Huge cartoon fan! Great Thread! :D :D :D

have you ever encountered the two great cartoons of the Nineteen Hundreds?
Krazy Kat and Little Nemo's Adventures in Slumberland.?

I just found a youtube of the Japanese americanisation of Little Nemo, haven't watched all of it, but here it is (Part 1) :

Finding a copy of the original adventures of Little Nemo in Slumberland
by Windsor McCay seems like a good enough way for me to spend my time!
(none of the images i could find could do it justice)

That was just my personal opinion, I watched all the episodes and it didn't really stay true to the book in my view. But I am surprised that the second part of Little Women (which is known by some as Good Wives) was never animated

Many people know of Miyuzaki's movies such as Spirited Away, but fewer know of "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time", which in my opinion is one of my favirout animated movies.

although a couple of scenes that might scare children and not exactly fairytale ending.

Oh, I am just so blown away and just thrilled to pieces with these animation movies.

Syzygyish, I just watched the entire Adventures in Slumberland movie and REALLY loved it! It was adorable and really need it to add to my collection. It's been around for quite some time it appears but I've never seen it before now. I don't think I've ever heard of Krazy Kat and this Little Nemo either. This version to me was lovely though. I don't care much for the more recent Disney animation movies because they are so loud, obnoxious and rather violent in nature. I wish they would work more on their story lines and plots and leave out so much of that other activity, would be nice. This Little Nemo's Adventures in Slumberland was a feast for the eyes and I truly loved it! Well, I'm off to 'Member's only discussion' to see what you're referring to there. :D ty Syzygyish a gazzillion tons....of happy

Bradleigh, I can't wait to set eyes on yours, next! Be back in a New York minute!
