My all-time favorite movie that ever existed and ever will exist: Airplane! And I quote:
Dr. Rumack: How soon can we land?
Capt. Oveur: I can't tell.
Dr. Rumack: You can tell me, I'm a doctor.
Capt. Oveur: No, no I mean I'm just not sure.
Dr. Rumack: Well can't you take a guess?
Capt. Oveur: Well...I'd say not for another two hours.
Dr. Rumack: You can't take a guess for another two hours?
Or perhaps from the sequel: Airplane 2: The Sequel.
Buck: Stand by to kill your auxiliary engines.
Ted: Roger that.
Buck: Alright, Striker...kill your auxiliary engines!
Ted: Murdock! The d*** lever just came off in my hand!
Buck: Try another lever!
Ted: There are no other levers!
Buck: No buttons?
Ted: No, no buttons, just lights, switches and knobs!
Buck: Oh, cut the bleeding-heart cr** Striker. We've all got our lights, switches and knobs; I mean down here we have literally hundreds of thousands of blinking, beeping, and flashing lights. Blinking...and beeping...and flashing...and flashing...I CAN'T STAND IT ANYMORE! THEY'RE BLINKING AND BEEPING AND FLASHING! WHY...I'm...I'm alright, I'm alright.
More from Airplane and Airplane 2:
Percival: Sir, these lights are blinking out of sequence. What should we do?
Buck: Get them to blink in sequence!
Ted: Where am I going to find a piece of metal? In space? ...at this hour?
Air Traffic Controller #1: But he doesn't have any flying experience at all; he's a menace to himself and everything that's in the air. Yes, birds too.
Leon: Bad news. The fog's getting thicker.
Jacobs: And Leon's getting laaaaaarger!
And one from Monty Python's Life of Brian:
Brian: You're all different!
Crowd: Yes! We're all different!
Man: I'm not...
