McMurphy for example was not even really insane, yet he was commited to hospital and was subjet to the worse 'punishment'. other patients werent committed but were volentary, they had been made to feel so bad about themselves that they did not feel stong enough to actualy leave, it was tragic.


I cried a lot when I saw the stitches. And I was really freaked out by the nurse -- she seemed content about what happened to him. But I guess he was going to strangle her to death. McMurphy definitely would have killed her.

Do you think he was just in trying to kill her for technically killing billy? I don't think he was actually, because Billy was already crazy, and may have been prone to suicide already. I guess she pushed him over the edge. Ah,, but I understand why it got to that point. Crazyy.
